Honoring Deputy Jesus "Jesse" Vargas

 Brazoria County Sheriff’s  Deputy Jesus “Jesse” Vargas tragically lost his life in the line of duty. Deputy Vargas dedicated 17 years to serving and protecting the community he loved. His sacrifice is a reminder of the risks our deputies face every day to keep others safe.

Deputy Vargas was not only a dedicated public servant but also a beloved husband, father, and friend. His life, legacy and sacrifice will not be forgotten.  

 For the 2025 Broads with Rods Fishing Tournament, our organization has chosen to donate all of the auction proceeds to the family of Deputy Jesus "Jesse" Vargas.
